nah its more ingrained than just avoidance, ive been smoking 15 years, thanks tho, yeah I know smoking will help witht he singing, swhy i did it, then i have a solid reason to remind myself why im not having a smoke.one cautionary note, chantrix has a really great success rate, but it also has been linked with suicides and suicidal tendencies, so take at your own risk, if you dont believe me im SURE theres news articles around if you google.

Yeah, I've heard of that too. Take deep breaths, breathe in, breathe out, just as you do when smoking a cigarette. Smokin does involve the act of breathing in, takin' that drag, and blowing out, or breathing out. I tried that a few times earlier today, as I remember doing that the last time I tried to quit. It does seems to help momentarily, enough to at least getcha' past one of those nicotine attacks. Can't hurt to try!I-468

first hour, its startin to grip into me now, haha, woooi keep smoking a pencil, sad thing is i keep catchin myself flickin it, i even put it in my mouth when i started typing, haha

I took up candy 4 years ago when I quit after smoking for 15 years. Now I have .the easier battle of loosing the weight I put on.Tell you one thing, the spring air never smelt so fresh. moreMaybe it's time for me to visit the forums more. I had a massive ritual of chain smoking after I prepared everything for a non-smoking environment. Helps though that my wife doesn't smoke. This was my second attempt and been off those bloody things for 4 years now.I always tell myself I am an ex-smoker and always will be because it is so easy to slip.Good luck to you guys and my hat off to you all for doing this.Matt
