Try using the IE setting in Firefox. It's under tools. open as an IE page. That might help. It has on some sites for me.

I don't know what to tell you Dan.I can load your page and play your songs in IE and Firefox with no problems.I haven't make any special configurations to either browser.I don't even see the setting that Ed mentions.Do you have the latest Firefox update?Maybe clear your cache and cookies and start over?...

HiSome suggestions if you haven't already tried... Try both IE and Firefox. If you are running any pop-up blockers try disabling them before clicking on a link. You could have even multiple pop-up blockers so you need to check that they are all off.... Google or Yahoo toolbars, Windows or Firefox options, anti-virus/security programs, etc.Temporarily turn off Norton or other similar security program and try it.Once in a while I find something that my Norton Security program just doesn't like. Good luck!Casey

Yes, yes... those are all good ideas. But they don't work. Actually I no longer see the 'display like IE' option in this version of Firefox. I remember it used to be there...this is ver 2.0.0.14 and it's fairly recent, i think.Craig from taxi called me and said the mp3 stream prefers iTunes to Media Player, but I doubt that will help since I don't ever get as far as loading the player. The timeout happens first. I'm not going to bother installing iTunes just to test this. Oh well....I appreciate your help everyoneThanksPS - Hey can anyone answer my thread about staff writers and how one gets paid as a producer contracted by a label? Just wondering what sort of payment structure regarding advance vs. royalties or points or anything relevant. Thanks!

Thanks! You sound fairly computer literate so I hope my suggestions aren't the obvious ones you already tried. Do you have the latest version of Windows Media Player? You could uninstall it and download the latest for free. Even if you have the latest, the clean install might clear up something that is lurking.Personally, I'd download iTunes and give it a shot because it's free and doesn't take very long (other than the Bill Gates mandatory re-boot) Casey

Is your local network behind a firewall that blocks port 8888? Taxi hosting streams on that port, many times failures with streaming have to do with firewalls (or other security software/hardware) not allowing traffic on that port.HTH,Antonio

Port 8888: Now that's the kind of info that might help here. I really don't see this being a media player problem since it doesn't even load. I played with the firewall but I will specifically address this port...BINGO! That's awesome. Now I will hear the stuff everyone's always talking about without disabling my firewall completelyThanks!
