I looked up "All You Need is Love" in my Complete Beatles (the best off-the-record chords, etc) and yes, indeed it has some 3/4 measures... I didn't recall it...Looking up "Girl", I found nothing but common time. Johnny-do you recall where in the song you hear that?LSD is an easy one to find.... triple meter in the verses, common in the chourses...Is this game fun? Casey

Johnny-do you recall where in the song you hear that?Hmmm, I've been wondering about that myself. If you say the song is in 4/4 with vocal triplets in the verses, then I guess it's that way throughout. But if it feels more like 12/8 (or 6/8), then it could go into 4/4 in the (tit-tit-tit) bridges. Is that the answer? Only Sgt. Pepper knows! Ernie Pepper

Jeees.... I have no life.... I guess that's why I am here!! I can't remember where I put my keys but I can recall 60's hits, who sang them, who wrote them, etc... And, of course, all sorts of Beatles trivia... Casey
