Rally Dates

Do we know what Hotel the Rally will be held at?

Hi guys,jumping in here....it's my first year with taxi and so it'll be my first rally - and obviously I don't want to miss any important information on the subject. Will such info as the hotel etc. be posted as soon as it is available or do I have to keep scanning the forums? I kind of got the feeling that there's a lot of rally intel floating around that doesn't appear on the main site. Cheers roc

Gonna go ahead and schedule my vacation off and start planning. This year I'm going to make decisions on all the classes and my top mentors BEFORE I get there and will plan on getting there early! (That was my biggest mistake last year.) Can't wait!

I'm seriously thinking of attending for the first time, and I have a few questions for the more experienced Rally-ersI understand the registration is on Thursday, November 5th. Is there an official start time for the registration? I wonder if I could get an early flight out of Portland and arrive in time on Thursday (perhaps 2 hours before registration starts).Does anything really important happen on Sunday evening, or would it be fine to fly home then?Besides reserving a hotel room, do you just show up, or is any pre-registration done in advance?Hope to meet all of you for the first time!Richard

Richard,Registration - Thursday usually around 5 or so and from what I hear there's a line for an hour or two before. We don't usually make it that early and we never get who we want for mentoring either, cause we're late.There are usually some interesting panels and / or listening panels on Sunday, so we hate to leave before it's over at 5 or 6. You will have to call (or email ?) Taxi to reserve your Rally tickets once they become available. 1 for you and 1 for a guest.Hope that helpsTricia
