Re: Reporting Live from LA
Thanks for the posts, Casey. Looking forward to attending the Rally vicariously through you and whoever else posts!Any chance you could "simply" have your iPhone out and logged in here so you can transcribe every conversation you have (mentors, elevator folks, cab drivers) in real time? Don't worry about making eye contact with them. They'll understand.

Amazing Thursday. SO many dots all over the place. Love it, love it, love it. I played "One Step Removed" in the upstairs open mic and had a blast.Tomorrow it all gets serious. Can't wait...

Re: Reporting Live from LA
Sorry I missed it Ted! I wimped out around 10 or 10:30 and went to bed. Maybe I'll go WILD tonight and make it to 11:00!!! Anyway, it was great to see or first meet SO many of you! Yesterday, Squids and Suz Doyle arrived-- first time I got to meet them. That was awesome! They are absolutely as much fun in person as in forum! It's hard to describe how when you meet forum folks for the first time, you instantly feel like family and you knew them forever. One of my favorite parts of the rally is simply being surrounded by so many people who "get it" and share the same dreams as you. If I got nothing else out of it (but I do!), the energy and motivation regarding this music thing would still be enough for me.Oh.... Denny's (about 1 long block away) ain't bad for an inexpensive meal either... Trent-- sorry about the dinner screw up last night!! Suz-- great chocolate!!Well, gotta get ready for the opening... Later Casey

Later CaseyI didn't really think the Rally would be all that worthwhile to me this year, seeing as I write country and am already going to Nashville nearly every month, but I do miss seeing everyone. Thanks for the updates... makes me feel like I'm not missing quite as much.Cam
