Hey Bassman, I went to your profile and listened to "Sundance", what a beautiful song, I found it very compelling, I also
read your bio. Apparently your quite successful at what you do, I guess what I'm getting at is, given the fact that you
seem rather upset or perhaps befuddled regarding the return, based on one persons opinion, and since you seem to already
have a deal for that particular piece of music, seems like a win win to me.
To be honest with you I'm new to this, I've only been on Taxi a month or two and I'm just now beginning to get a sense of what
I need to do to be successful here, I've been writing and recording since my early 20's, since I never really made any major
money doing it, some people( ex-wife ) call it a hobby.

Hi there

Thanks for your comments, really appreciate it.
All I can tell you is after many years of doing this gig I still don't take rejection very well. In fact I probably find
it harder now that I think I know what I am doing ;)

I understand! For me, it seems like a perpetual race between the ever-rising "bar" and constantly trying to improve my skills at writing, arranging, recording, keeping up with what's current, etc, etc.

The good news is that at least with Taxi I have a clue about where I am, even though it seems the brass ring seems to keeps moving just out of reach each time around. Plus I have lots of friends here who will help point out the way if I ask for help (y'all know who you are!) But, yes, every now and then I take a wistful moment to mourn the death of my delusions.
