Hector!! :D

I'm sorry I haven't been able to reciprocate with my soundcloud page playing on it's terms, and my ipad that can't play taxi page music ... UGH!!!!

I did finally get a chance to listen though, and agree it's a bit complex and rhythmically awkward for the "beer-drinking pickup truck driver" I quickly saw referenced last night ... ;) Definitely a big applause for stepping outside your comfort zone though!! That is a difficult thing to do, and now you know what's needed for any future hard rock listing that you want to write for. :D

That said, you have some really interesting pieces on your page! I was enjoying "Hector's Flute solo" and "The Skew." Pretty & sensual grooves like "the look of love" and "Girl from Ipanema." LOVE a nice bossa nova!

Thank you for sharing!
:D

Dearest Peter,

Ah how wonderful to have your Visit here today !

Thank you for pointing the errors of "SPORT Fever", and yes we did enjoy to have a go at a Genre very unfamiliar, so next time there a Listing somewhat similar, we shall try again, and we shall remember the good Critiques here.

Thank you so very much for spending some time listening to the stylish and untroubled Latin Music of Hector.

Actually, "The Skew" is one Hector's very favourite and it is mine too : it is a very very lovely Composition. And "Hector's Flute Solo" is really worth 5 minutes of your time. It is ravishingly cool and trendy and groovy. The best !

Thank you again dear Peter ! :)

Dear Peter,

We really like "Razor Burn" for this same Listing.

It is very well done indeed ! The second part gets ever higher in Energy than the first part, so it is very appropriate and very good.

We think that you have a real chance ! :)

WOW Barry I love your stuff. I guess if you get a forward then that answers my question as to "how heavy" I can go for a listing like this haha. I'm fairly confident that you're in the ballpark on at least one of those tracks.

I submitted 3 tracks: From This Day, My Survival, and Tapered Mind

Yeah, I have to agree. I thik the levels are too hot. Seems like I hear a constant effect, panning guitars one speaker to the other that' is kind of distracting.I agree the melody is a little too out. I also agree that you can't go wrong using Barry French as a reference especially for this sort of stuff. Your still brilliant though Hector.

Ah thank you dear Chuck! :)

I reduced the level of noise, no distortion anymore ... I guess that we got carried away by the wordings of the Listing. They were quite strong and out there !

Thank you for your detailed Critique. It is very helpful.

And now we are glad that we are learning from the super excellent Music in that Genre from Barry French.

You will all be able to meet him again at the Road Rally this year, no ?

Hector

In every sense of the word, you are an individual! Kind of punk... Liked it. A little outside the box, I'd imagine. Cool though!
