Quote:[quote author=augustheat board=general thread=1164769349 post=1164822135] When Nomi was new here she started a thread about her love life and we nearly ran her off with all of our suggestions (get her to show you a pic of her beautiful legs - WOW)Well, aren't you sweet!!!!! Actually, I posted some songs and started other threads, but the dating / legs is how I'm remembered... Hey, I'll still take it as a compliment.

I still remember that thread too --- we started by giving some dating advice and it took off from there So what happened, Nomiyah? Do tell

Vikki,I never saw that guy again. I was freelancing at his workplace and I called my contact there. I tried to convince her to bring me in for more work so I'd have a chance to talk to him again. But since I finished the job, there was really no reason to go back. I even asked her about the guy but didn't feel comfortable asking for his number. So much is timing, isn't it? I am still single, despite legs. Between songwriting, producing, working and being a single mom, I haven't made time for dating, but am still open to possibilities (hint to you matchmakers). Thanks for asking.Nomi

Heat, some of us old timers (on this forum) have given our opinions, ideas and stories so many times that we feel it is repetitive to chime in with the same old stuff. We're not trying to be rude but wanting to let some fresh words of wisdom hit the net. I read the new posts most every day and all I can put in is what I've said before. As someone said "Start a new and interesting *fun* thread" and all the old maniacs will take it overWhen Nomi was new here she started a thread about her love life and we nearly ran her off with all of our suggestions (get her to show you a pic of her beautiful legs - WOW)If I can think of anything new to offer I'll be glad to expose how lame I can be to all the new folks here.Drew:I understand not wanting to have to repeat the same stuff over and over. That's not what I was referring to when I talked about rudeness...I was actually talking newbies who have been literally trashed and demorailzed by a certain "few" who aren't in the "people building" business.(Hey Nomiyah! I would like to take you out on a date, but my wife won't let me! She's a bit difficult that way...)

Hi. I'm Sgt Pepper and I will be hijacking this thread at any moment. Please keep your arms, legs and opinions inside the thread at all times, or they may be hacked off and eaten. This has been a public service announcement from one of the "old" forum members. Remember, chat responsibly.
