Maybe Hummingbird and I could team up and rob a bank! I'll make the soundtrack!

My 1972 Rickenbacker 4001 bass...$150 in 1988. Worth a bit more today. The Yamaha GO46 firewire interface from Zzounds...it's a nice one, just as good as the Presonus Firebox I sold to get this one... but best of all, it came bundled with Cubase Studio 4, all for $219. CS4 costs $400 alone, so go figure. My Alvarez Yairi acoustic and my Reissue '57 Stratocaster--those items that I paid a lot of money for in the 80's have proven worth the cost over the years. Quality saves you money in the long run, and brings so much enjoyment and relief.

1. My 1963 Stratocaster that I paid $200 for. I just bought a vintage guitar book, and it's now worth between $20,000 and $50,000!!! 2. My Soundcraft Board. It was state-of-the-art when I bought it years ago, and cost $4000. I still use it every day. What a sweetheart!3. My Sennheiser K2-U shotgun mic. I bought it at a garage sale for $5. It's a GREAT microphone!4. My 2003 Pontiac Vibe GT. It hauls lots of gear, hauls ass, and I still get 30 mpg!Just off the top of my head --- Ern

BTW, I'd be happy to look up the value of your guitars/amps in my "Vintage Guitar" book --- no charge! For instance, Mark's 1972 Rickenbacker 4001 bass is worth between $2,200 and $3,100. Oh, I forgot --- my vintage Yamaha NS-10M monitor speakers. Couldn't live without 'em! Ern

My 80s Fernandes Strat was a smokin' hot deal; all it needed was a volume pot and a string change, I've got $120 invested, and it smokes USA strats costing thousands...

I looked it up, and you made some serious $$!Your guitar is valued at $150 to $700.BTW, they're made in Japan (not that there's anything wrong with that - Seinfeld). I had a Japanese Strat as a backup "live" guitar (if I broke a string etc.), and it wouldn't stay in tune for the life of me! I sold it.Ern
