imagine if John Williams and Trent Reznor met at Bernard Hermann's for lunch and Brian Eno was the head chef!

Re: What a great Rally!
We came all the way from Australia to finally get to TAXI Road Rally 2010.
Loved it - Learned heaps! And met lots of wonderful friendly passionate songwriters and heard awesome songs presented at pitch sessions - and took many pages of notes from great teaching. Lots of love and generosity. Loved hanging with my fave people on the planet - Songwriters!
And get this- I even won a fab prize for being one of the top Taxi aps users even though I posted about how long the registration line was. So big applause for Michael Laskow and the Taxi team for a superb event.
I am very impressed with the Taxi Road Rally and my prizel!!!!
Hope I can make it back again next year. I'll be telling all my Australian songwriter buddies about it.

Re: What a great Rally!
Just want to add, that's a good point you made about the way you felt in the first 2 rally's. I felt the same way this being my first, kinda like 'this is the most important event of my life'. And of course it's not, but I look forward to future rallies where the introductions are over and we can just fall into conversation like we never left off. See you then.

Re: What a great Rally!
Jon,
"Mama Mia" It was good to spend some time with you in LA.
You are correct in that next year's Rally will be a deeper experience as you spend more time with the folks you met this year and make some new friends.
It's all good.
Your new friend in Nashville,
Chuck

Re: What a great Rally!
This is super exciting news, major congrats!!!Cat Herder wrote:And just a comment on Barry, while he, and we, were having a great time at the rally, much was going on at a certain production company. When I got back we found out Barry has the theme song for a brand new show on a certain new network. You deserve all this Big Blue.
That was fun having lunch with you and Panos that day and getting to know you guys better. I enjoyed the tips as well as the cat stories
