@jparker... Thanks Jeff! I'm trying to remember which panel it was that we met but can't quite remember. Which one was it?
I never would have imagined that 2 years and a couple of days after attending my first Road Rally I would have gotten a theme song for a TV show. Still can't believe how quickly it happened. I owe some thanks to a few people.
First off, THANK YOU Michael Laskow for starting TAXI and for allowing this forum to thrive into the online community that it has become. If it wasn't for these forums, I know without a doubt, I would not be in the place that I am today. Which leads me to...
Dave Walton... Dave, I can't thank you enough for the encouragement you have provided to myself and many others on the forum, but especially for the gentle nudge you gave me at my first Rally in regards to approaching a certain production company that happened to be sitting 10 feet away from us at the time. Thank you for that. Which leads me to...
Cat Herder... I really can't say thank you enough for taking my demo CD that night, 2 years ago. That encounter has literally changed my life. While I'm not quite where I want to be at yet, I know without a doubt that I'm headed down the right path, and some of the opportunities I've received over the last year would not have been possible if you hadn't taken my demo CD that night. I'm SO GLAD you did. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU.

Re: What a great Rally!
Hey Barry, I think we met in the Grand Ballroom when Robin Frederick was doing her talk on the Film and TV songwriting tips. It's still all a blur of information.
