Poor Mal. Ended up a raging alco and was shot dead by the police in a motel in the states. I'm not sure he was even armed. Very sad.

Quote:Haven't a clue Ern. You finally got me! Aha! Stumped Sgt. Pepper himself! He's Neil Sanders, who played French Horn on some of George Martin's arrangements.Sanders somehow ended up in Kalamazoo, MI, where I went to college. He taught french horn there at W. Mich. U. A good buddy of mine is a photographer who took that photo. There ya have it! Sgt. Pepper!Ern

I did know of Neil Sanders. Just didnae know the face! Did he teach you?Kalamazoo!! I've got a tune called 'Going to Kalamazoo'. It's about a boxing tournament to find the heavyweight champion of all the greats whether they be artists, athletes or whatever and people like Jesus, Elvis, Muhammed Ali and Woody Allen take part. The idea is that great people don't die. They go to Kalamazoo to take part in this tournament and earn their place in the pantheon of greats! Guess I better cut back on the LSD. Btw, I know Woody Allen ain't dead yet but I'm counting on the fact that he probably will be sometime!

It had a punk attitude:"What's your mama going to do about it?" etc. Never recorded it. Maybe I will! Sgt. Pepper
