YAY!
I dont know if to post the short story or to go the long way, ha ha. I have not posted much lately because my life is in chaos lately, but I wont bore you with the details. The thing is, I want to tell everybody that you should be patient and learn, learn, and write and submit. This is my second year with Taxi . I was so discouraged at first because I only had returns and returns. Then I had one or two forwards, mostly because I followed advice here at the forum from you guys. And also reading all those little letters Michael sends us in the mail, saying you should write, and try again, and keep trying like Edison with all those lightbulbs. At one time I also got discouraged because I wanted, I heard in my head a full orchestra but darn,it is so hard to make that virtual orchestra sound like a real one! It takes a lot of time to learn how to tweak the sounds, and I dont have much time in real life. I mean, I either write music or tweak. Luckily, I dont have to do much tweaking with a piano. What if I did like that pianist Michael wrote about that only writes piano pieces? I mean, if I could make just a particle of what he makes, maybe I'll have more time to tweak sounds or more money to buy equipment?Well, a forward I had in February got me a contract for 2 songs! Ok, Im only signed but Jeez! I have 2 songs in a music library! And not directly thru Taxi, but I should say because of learning thru Taxi's critiques, a song I wrote 3 years ago also got signed to another music library! Thank you guys! Thank you Taxi!!

Perseverance pays off! Thanks for reminding us that we have to keep our eye on the target and continue to keep moving forward and not get discouraged - no matter how hard it seems. You're living proof!Steve

OMG, Miss Brindabella.I don't know how on earth I could be any happier for you. And hopefully, this news can help to allay some of the chaos in your life.Way to go, hon. Well deserved, and such a wonderful example of why TAXI will always be a viable option, but NEVER a "quick-fix" option.SO VERY proud of you.Ted

I'm so happy for you I don't know what to say (and that doesn't happen very much). Once the paperwork is complete and the dust is settled, "gently push yourself forward" (credit: Traveling Ed) by letting them know you have some new music you've done, music you think they might like as well or more than the first two tracks. If you don't have any new music... gee, I wonder what you should do??? I'm guessing that it won't be long before 2 tracks grows to 4 or 8, 16... so on and so forth. It's a good day. Congratulations,Dave
