Paul, Thank you for your compliments. It's good, I guess, to have the "current" thing down! I checked out your site. I like "Riding A Camel" and "Gassy Rudolph". LOL! I think you could have some success, if you haven't already, writing for children's songs. You guys seem like a lot of fun. And I think there's a great demand for that style as much as there is cheesy old "current sounding" songs. Just different venues.Scott,Thats bfd2. I'm really happy with what i've been able to program lately, it seems I've been getting a lot better results the more time I spend tweaking in the virtual mixer. It's the first drum plug in that got me feeling like I'm pulling up the drum channels on a desk in a great studio with a pro drummer in the live room. The drum sounds are just so true, imho. If you wanna talk drum VI's, pm me. I love to talk about the topic.Actually everything on that track was done "virtually" in my humble little project studio. The bass is running through my Midas pre and into Ampeg SVX and the guitars are all direct also using the Amplitube suite. I wasnt so hot for IK multimedia until just recently. I love it.None of this replaces solid players in a great studio, but it has gotten so close most people cant tell the difference. And I sure like the price tag for demo-ing songs!Dean, You're track is smoking, dude! No Disguise IS a hit and I... am a little jealous. LOL. If I can't get something together on this chorus on my next sit down I may just have to PM you for input. Thanks for your feedback.----------You guys have been a big help here! Through your candid responses, my feelings about this chorus have been confirmed. I'll repost a new version when I have one ready. PM me anytime for feedback on your own tracks. I will not hesitate or hold back my true opinion. I hope to meet some of you all at the Rally!
