Wow...... and to think I gave up on local 'jam nights' cause I was so sick of waiting until midnight just to play three silly songs! Intresting post to read.... at least your payoff will be much greater.... Even just the bragging rights. Best of luckChris

Amazing stuff... I will say a friend of mine auditioned a few years ago...and he didn't make it.. then another friend of his said don't worry you can play with us on Thursday night in the round.. the auditions are for the Sunday shows. He played about a week after he got the word he couldn't play on Sunday..on Thursday with some co-writers. It is very brave to do those auditions. You Are The Man....David

The people I know who have done rounds have done them because the leader of the round invited them to sit in. That's the way to go. Still, the auditions are a rite of passage and I've got all good thoughts going for Ted who I know will make it through. And then we'll be coming to the BB some Sunday in February to cheer him on Claire

Nashville: It's like the river STYX. Everyone wants to get on the boat and get to the other side, where fame, fortune, and appreciation of their talents become alive. But you gotta pay before you get to the other side. Good luck, Ted!Ott

I just got an email from a woman I know in town who was there for that same audition, and she told me she got her "return" on her audition this morning. But I haven't heard anything yet; so that either means the judges are still out on me, OR I got through and am just needing to wait until they fit my name into the upcoming schedule...I'm sorry for her, but it's a good sign (so far) for me.Promise to keep you posted.Ted
