I won't be bringing a guitar with me, but if I can borrow someone else's, I'm already planning on playing the alternate open mic that happens upstairs. Vikki and I are thinking about working something up. And as a duo or as a solo, I promise I'll play this one for you. <hhh>And BTW, STILL no rejection email yet. I was gonna bring my resonator but after the whole Taylor guitar video, now I'm jes not so sure. What's the word on that? Do they have space up front of the plane for it so it doesn't have to go into cargo? I'll take it if they do have room at the front of the plane, then all y'all can borrow it. It's a different sound than a regular wired acoustic but I promise you it'll get ya there.

To the RALLY????I don't dare continue with my response until you come back with an answer, 'cause all the screaming and happy dancing I was planning would be totally inappropriate otherwise...Ted

FWIW, I've just come from a monthly songwriter's potluck here in town and ran into a man I've heard play around town several times. I really like his stuff, especially the tune he auditioned with. And he told me that HE got the rejection email just a couple of days after the audition. That one stunned me, but even HE said, "you haven't heard back from them??? That's a good sign." (And I immediately encouraged him to audition again.)I sincerely believe now that I'm going to get "the nod". There's a great big "wooHOO!" just WAITING to happen, but I don't want to shout myself hoarse without reason...

Waiting for this is worse than using those old Heinz ketchup bottles.(*C'Mon! C'Mon!!*)And I'm not talking today's upside-down squeezy plastic types, of course.
Earplugs may be required for anyone over the age of cool.
