Those things being said, I would be honored , humbled and hopefully not publicly humiliated

Regarding libraries I'm in, since we can't list specifics, all I can say is the ones 'm referring to aren't of the we take everything variety. Some of those I've submitted to multiple times. All list the shows that they place on. A smaller library with a couple shows, one with several shows in rotation they supply to. Best case scenario is one of those libraries took about half of what i submitted. ANother 5 of say 20, and another, with the tracks still in the submission process took 1 (so far) of the 9 I submitted). Hip Pocket was one of those that was a Taxi forward that I never heard anything back from and decided to submit. Everything on the cue reel was either a taxi forward or picked from a list of submissions for acceptance into library. The cue reel is my attempt to put my best foot forard Three in the cue reel were taxi forwards. Three were custom cues so to speak, 3 were returns.
The three that seem to have gathered the most interest so far are Life Inside Out ( a previous TAxi submission for instrumental "girl pop" in the vein of Pink/Kelly Clarkson. THis was written though prior to that listing), but was a TAxi return. Blue Streak ( and I don't know why, it's not one of my favorite tracks and may have been on my list of "least likely to succeed")seems to consistently get good marks and accepted into everything so far. Bkue Streak was originally written for a Stone Foxes/Sheepdogs instrumental listing. Hip Pocket was a Taxi forward that also seems to get consistent "likes" so to speak on the level of Blue Streak. It is one track where I would go back and say, it is probably one of my stronger ones.
One thing I have done with every track I've written in the last year is run them through Peer To Peer. That has been hugely helpful to me I think. If I were to list the first track(which I may put on my Taxi page) I submitted, a vocal track called Caught In The Middle, and then you heard the stuff on the cue reel, my hope is you would har an immense difference in the quality, largely due to Peer to Peer.
To put things in context, my little (yes a moment of frustration) rant) was in response more to having tracks consistently returned rather then this one return specifically. It , as you have suggested, is a relatively common theme and there have been several other members express and post similar "my membership is almost up, why should I renew" posts. I thought I would throw one in there with the additional wrinkle " We can submit on our own, why renew" twist. I know you know more then one of us one of us are thinking so I thought it might be beneficial to talk about the elephant in the room so to speak. I hope that doesn't come off as more challenging then I wanted it to but it is a consideration for some of us.
WHile I don't expect the bar to be lowered and to start forwarding tracks that are undeserving, a totally unfair question but another that has likely been asked before is "what does the quality of the library have to do with anything if we aren't getting forwarded anyway".
Again thanks for tolerating the long winded response. I certainly welcome the inclusion in Monday's Taxi TV. Please know I'm not avoiding but can't be there when it airs but if it you decide to do that know that again I redit the TAxi service for any gains I may have made to fate.
I will watch when it becomes available .. sorry I forget the details but will get those and watch. If I have made an strides at all, since Taxi has been there right drom the start when I startedsubmitting to libraries I have to give this service high marks and happy to have made the choice to join.
