Can you feel it?Tons 'o love going around!Vikki - I feel for you. I guess the lower fares are the "upside" of NY - LA being such a busy route. Flying from the Southeast to anywhere is the toughest here, unless your in Florida.I only have to get there from NM, so its a short flight and about $300 r/t. The train is about $250 r/t (coach, no roomette) so flying is probably the better option. Are you taking the train or flying?

Meals are included, stopping off to do the tourist thing coming and going, 4 days on the train (2 days down, 2 days back) including meals is about $535 CA each with the exchange.
