Nice sound. That's the amp I played with in the 70/80's. a couple pedals and you were set. Now these darn modeling amps just don't cut it.

That's a great sounding rendition! It's very much in the vein of Hendrix's version.

I submitted a version I made as well. It's not exactly like Hendrix's but it is a bit bluesy/psychedelic/garage rock. I'd like to hear what you guys think.

rend22, i think you did a very interesting interpretation. i like it! the listing seems to allow room for taking it off center a bit, and i think you did that. but you still have the great original vibe going, and your version builds really well all the way to the end. good luck to us both!

Lovin this. Gotta be the best cover I've ever heard on the Taxi Forums!

I really enjoyed it, everything just glued.
Everything was played so tasteful, including the vocals, and that strat tone was killer.

Taxi is pretty fortunate they have this kind of class on call.
