No worries... I expect she'll be signed to a major record deal in no time flat. :D

:) Casey

Hope so Casey!

Sometimes (the also rans) if you will forgive the horse racing anaolgy do better than the winners.

She might even get invited back.

I've never heard the audience react the way they did on that decision.

I thought I had misheard it.

I thought the best singer just left. Can not understand the appeal of Scotty at all. Does anyone here understand how the "voting" actually works? Can people vote multiple times?

I am sure you can vote multiple times.

I think the voting system is as much about generating money as it is about getting a winner.

Scotty is a bit of a one trick pony,he reminds me of a young Randy Travis.

Pia... I was not a big fan, but i think they should have voted her stylist off instead of her. Pretty girl but bad outfits.

This is my forecast for the final three
1. Casey (awesome voice, tone, pitch, talent.. have enjoyed every performance except the Nirvana tune)
2. Haley (I think she's found her place, great voice, control and tone, plus she's my neighbor!)
3. James

Jennifer Hudson came in 7th, Adam Lambert 2nd. Ms Hudson has an Oscar, and a Golden Globe award. The winners never seem to do as well. Anyone who makes the top 12 are pretty amazing talents by anyone's taste and have careers no matter which way the public voting goes.

Yea, I thought Pia had real star quality. I usually only watch the start of "Idol" for the laugh factor, then tune in toward the end. Beats me! My wife says the young girls vote for the guys, and vote often. I think they're jealous of someone that beautiful and talented, and get crushes on the guys.

But, yup, lots of people voted off earlier have had enough exposure already to make a career out of it.

BTW, what happened to that hard rock southern dude who smoked on "Vehicle" by the Ides of March? How about Ruben? I know that Constantine (sp?) is starring in a Broadway play about the 80s hair bands!

An occasional watcher,

Ern 8-) :)

That was a shocker and I'm happy (and not surprised) that things are looking promising for her already. There's no doubt the girl can SANG. Hard to believe there are only 2 ladies left. I really do think they should change the voting system so that the judges have some say.

Speaking of the judges, I do agree with you Casey, that Steven is the new Paula. He's great for entertainment value but what meaningful criticism has he offered any of the contestants so far?

That is cool about the connections Hookjaw and Marc!
