Ha, I scored!!My brother-in-law came along for the ride and pretty much stomped on his mom every time she opened her mouth.It was the quietest visit I've ever experienced. Thanks for thinkin' of me, all y'all. Turns out it was okay. Now if I could jes get my hubby all on board with turnin' back into his normal self........(sigh).

Ah, mother-in-laws... Don't get me started! Actually, I love my M.I.L. but we used to joke than one could murder their mother-in-law and no judge would convict had they spent an hour with her. **joke**Actually, there is a line in one of my songs because of her. I wrote lyrics to a female country-pop song called "Marry Me" years ago which got me my first ASCAP check ($7.45). The lyrics were based on the story of my wife and I (female point of view). Don't tell the kiddies but we moved in together before we were engaged. When we told her parent's, her mother, being a bit wacky, said "My daughter's finger looks so empty!!"... When writing the words to "Marry Me", I was thinking of words for the bridge and I decided to say something about the ring... So the bridge goes:A diamond on my finger, a family some dayWe'll be together always...Thank you M.I.L. for you contribution to my $7.45 from ASCAP as well as a few hundred in mechanicals...
