If you get called on this one you gotta let me in your band!
It's hard to make a comeback when you haven't been anywhere

Quote:If you get called on this one you gotta let me in your band! Thanks Drew - we'll think about it... The thing I felt best about this forward was that this was part of the listing -"This labels artists have received Grammy nominations and chart recognition, so they are looking for acts of equal caliber."So, at least one person at TAXI feels we fit this criteria... In fact, this makes me feels so good, it'll do for the ONOFFON SSP of the Weekend...

ONOFFON's SSP of the Day comes from an independent record label in San Diego, California - Head/Trapp Music - with a short and sweet review of our first CD -ONOFFON - Surrender NowHead/Trapp Music"Some cool tunes coming from ONOFFON, a nice blend of jazzy rock and inspired improvisations. Reference if you like: Dave Matthews, Phish, or Ben Folds Five."Thanks to Head/Trapp for the cool comparisons...

The ONOFFON SSP of the Day is an email I recently received from a lurking, non-posting member of these message boards. I will preserve this person's anonymity but this is what they had to say -"I found the link to your site below your address ..... and have been prowling around your site. Nice stuff .. reminds me of the Stanley Clarke/RTF that I was listening to when I was a lil' bit, when I was supposed to be practicing my Bach and Bartok."First, I must thank this person for any reference to Stanley Clarke or Return To Forever - that, in itself, is an honor.Secondly, I love the fact that we can be compared to groups like Dave Matthews, Phish, and Coldplay by some reviewers, while others say Return To Forever, King Crimson, and Pat Travers. While that kind of depth and diversity can be a liability in the music business (especially to a band who has not 'made it'), it is a deep source of pride to me...

ONOFFON's SSP of the Day is one of the coolest guestbook entries on our homepage -Name: jeffersondavisjonesLocation: Roanoke, Virginia Comments: "Holy shmokin' artichokin' bad ass sounds dudez! Just got the powerful, full soundscape of "Surrender Now" sizzlin' thru my cerebral sac of dizzyin' absorbent mind fruit man. "The Gift Must Always Move" is currently jacking me up quite high. Thanks. Gotta have the most recent sound module as well. Hope you fellas' don't mind if pick up a few copies of that one. Gotta run and carry onoffon."Thanks to jeffersondavisjones for his very interesting take on our music! Thanks also to FOX Sports, who has continued to air our music in episodes of their show, "54321"!!!!
