On the Mac, you basically just click a checkbox to turn on the FTP server function. My Mac is directly connected, so any file that has sharing turned on can be grabbed.

hey johnI use filezilla from mozilla - it's free and has all the basic features a ftp client needs.for me the advantage of ftp vs. yousentit is that you can keep the files on your ftp as long as you want, have all projects in one place - it's basically the same to navigate like in the explorer of your computer.cheersmartin

I use Filezilla too on a Mac... it seems very user friendly so far...K
