EZ drummer anyone?

Probably something you did by accident. I've been known to accidently set something wrong, and get some crazy result. The big thing is though, now you've got the problem solved, right? If that was the problem, remember to keep that solution in your memory bank. You never know, ya' just might accidently do it again. I-468

I dont think it was something I did, truly. I think the one I got is simply deranged. It does the same thing not only with that track, I tried it by opening new projects and still does it. Tempo is fine until I insert a clip, no matter what tempo I set up, once I insert a clip it goes to 100.I go to the tempo map and erase and it goes fine until again when I insert a clip. Not only that, changes the beat from 3/4 to 4/4, but it sounds like 3/4! Heck, it shouldnt be doing that, even tho I dont mind the erasing and going back and forth, it is still easier than making one from scratch with the drum map. Sounds better too!

Hmmmmm...that is strange. You're right, that shouldn't be happening. I wonder if it's not something that has ta' do with EZD, but if it might not be Sonar where the problem exists. This is just a last resort suggestion, but the only other thing I can suggest is to save all of your important Sonar data to an external hard drive, if you have one, uninstall EZD & Sonar, and reinstall Sonar & EZD. I know it's a PITA, but that might be the only solution. At the least, you'll be starting out on a clean slate. Who knows, you may have acquired some type of goofy glitch or something, with the installation of EZD. Hard to pinpoint what's causing the problem. If you do that, and end up with the same results, then I'd have to think that you DO have a deranged copy of EZD. Do you have any other DAWs besides Sonar, or is that the only one? If you have more than Sonar, you could try EZD out in another one, and see what happens. Usually when I have those types of troubles in Sonar, I go to another DAW to see if the same problem(s) exists. More often than not, it's Sonar and not the plug-in, or something I did/set wrong in Sonar that's causing the problem. Get used to it, troubleshooting WILL become a part of your experience when dealing with the MIDI stuff. Sometimes it's a piece of cake, other times it's not.I-468
