I want to say that this is my first Rally, and it it absolutely the most amazing experience. It is life changing...it has really made me focus on career choices and goals, by demonstrating tried and true methods for reaching those career goals. To Michael and his staff...unbelievable feat. I can't believe you can assemble this much talent from all areas of the music business and bring them all together, in what appears to be an effortless fashion. You make it look easy... What a vibe you have created, and I am in your debt. Now I have to follow the advice that Jeffrey Steele gave us yesterday..."write songs, just write songs."Thanks Michael,Charlie ErnstIf you have never been, you have to do whatever yo have to do to get here.

This is a great experience, especially seeing the open mic performances last night by Adrienne, Hummingbird, Casey, Ted and many others. Everyone is just as talented as I imagined, not to mention just a great bunch of people!Michael, I'm still laughing about the closer talker comment! Off to another day of activities! Rich

This is my first rally; all I can say is wow. So many cool things to list. One of the best, if not the best thing, has been meeting folks from this forum. Went out to dinner last night with some dots. Had a blast, laughed so hard my ribs still hurt, and made some new contacts. The panels have been great. They've really exceeded my expectations. Seeing Big Blueberry get the inspiration award today was great -- what a sweetheart of a guy! I'm energized; and looking forward to getting back home and writing my a$$ off.Big thanks to ML and all the TAXI staff for doing what they do to make this rally amazing. And a big group hug / shoutout to all fellow TAXI folks -- absolutely some of the nicest people I've been trapped in a hotel for a weekend with.Erich

Nice guy.The Rally has been really smooth and more fun than ever for my staff and me this year. Sorry I'm not able to hang a little more with you guys. I get a little envious as I fly by the on my way to putting a out a fire here or there. You guys are always having fun while I'm often enjoying the closetalkers who keep leaving spittle on my glasses.... usually with some form of alcohol in it. Had to clean cranberry juice form my glasses twice last night. Leaves residue on the wipey cloth! See you on your panel in 1.5 hours. Going to be fun!MichaelIt's always harder for the host to have the fun the guests do. Just want you to know how much we all appreciate what you do here every year. Thanks for taking the spittle... like taking one for the team. I just came from a film/TV panel with Matt, Vikki, Dave W, Dean K, Barry, Suz, Marty, Chuck, Mazz, and other impressive & successful members. (If I left out a name it was unintentional!) It was extremely motivational.... One of the best! More later.... Late for next class. Casey

Way to go, Big Blue!!! Our own Barry French was just presented with the TAXI Inspiration Award and John Mazzei got the Community Leadership Award. Couldn't possibly be happier for them or prouder of them.Hey, ML... PLEASE, Please. You MUST do that panel again next year. What a fantastic, motivational and informative way to start the day. Great idea. GREAT panel.Ted

Casey played a very funny tune called "Do You Ever Google me?". Vikki, appropriately enough, played a lovely song called "Hummingbird". Thursday night I played "One Step Removed" and last night I did "When I Get Back to Nashville". Adrienne did a song she wrote for her brother's wedding called "I Make This Vow". SO much fun.
