rough rock demo.. I will finish this

Post by feaker » Wed Oct 08, 2008 5:29 am

Turned my amp to a setting called rectified last night and started bouncing between E and G chords. Sounded like heavy metal or maybe head banging. Went on only 50 seconds and then tried to decide to can it or start actually making a project out of it?I hate to put a lot of time in on this if it has no appeal or chance to find a home. Don't know if new rock stuff is even out there? I only have a couple hours into it so far. Now would be a good time to find out.Takes 50 seconds if you have the time.New...added a lead guitar 10/9ThanksPlease visit my site. The song is "rectified2"http://www.taxi.com/feaker Paul

I'll see your .50 and raise you 5:00 Hey..... like the laid back jazzy feel on the vocal.... I hear that as the treatment.... keep the rectified ( ) guitar just make the drums shuffle more.... dirty blues.... that's it...Check out this tune by Jazz Stan.... kinda got that dirty blues thing going on..... though a little faster... http://taxi.proboards27.com/index.cgi?b ... d=9808Good start...Peace, Geo

DaveThe tune sounded dark, so I induldged.GeoJust had a listen. Think I might be able to find some drums. Lead guitar is going to be fun with this one.Got the tempo at 85. That is pretty low. Just learned how to copy a few drum fills and use them. Learning curve very slow here.As us "yoopers" of upper Michigan would say, " thank you's guys for your thoughts"Paul

sounds like retro "grunge" a bit to me. I say it's a keeper and you should work on it. (insert whip-cracking sound here)
