UPDATE--Made the top 20 (Amer Idol)!!!

YOU HAVE TO RATE EVERY SONG IN ORDER TO VOTE, I WOULD JUST APPRECIATE A WEE BIT HIGHER RATING THAN THE OTHERS, MAYBE When I learned about ten days ago that AI was doing a songwriting competition this year for their "finale" song and the first single by the winner, I did a rewrite of the song "Dream Again" that our own audiorayne had sung so well for me (subject of another thread re rock/country collaboration). The result is a song called "You Believed In Me" (made to order for AI) that I have now submitted. I only have to beat out about 2000 other songs to make the top 20 ;-)Again, AR (Logan) sings the heck out of this for me! Hey, Perry. I always enjoy listening to your music....it's very well produced."You Believed In Me" is a great song.....good lyrics, good production. I think your tune will prove some stiff competition to any of the other AI entries. I like all the melodic contrasts here, especially the way 'you believed in me is' sung. Nice ending on the chorus. Thanks, Chitty. Always appreciate your comments (with whcih I often concur even when critical (in a constructive way, of course) of my own stuff). Props to Logan (audiorayne) on the vocals. Love the way he sang it.Heinsite is 20/20, right Warren "My Strategy" could be interpreted to fit just fine. But I think they will probably want a bigger chorus (which they could certainly produce with your song if they wanted to). Good luck on the pitch!
