Oh ya, Billy, good memories indeed.
Green River was one of many Credence Clearwater Revival songs our band covered in the early 70's Didn't Fogerty write that one?

I'm not sure we can use the expression CCR anymore without causing confusion among the younger readers because of Cross Canadian Ragweed which is very hot now and they are known to fans as CCR as well. Great band by the way; first time I heard "Cry Lonely" it knocked me out.

Way to go Jen
Beating me out on that one. Ya Mark and I went to high school together and my kid brother Ben used to hang out in Mel's garage and jam with him. Mel lived at the other end of the street just a block away. What's really strange is that before moving to Flint, I went to school in Lapeer with the late Terry Knapp aka Terry Knight and got to watch those guys doing live gigs around the area when they were starting out as Terry and The Pirates.

Hey Jen,

Yup another CCR and they have a similar, though all their own vibe. Very cool band (do people still say cool?)
