Re: Just a request.
So sorry to hear that, Walter. I hope to see you back here soon. Will you be receiving treatment in a major metro area?

FYI, Neurosurgeon has decided to go in through the nose( kinda like how we'll have to pay him ) to get a look and make another decision then as to how to proceed. April 4 is the date. Could be a Granuloma, Adenoma or Cancer.Thought I'd let y'all know.

Update for those interested. The first surgery was a bust. He couldn't reach the growth to biopsy it. So, April 25 I had an orbital surgery done ( Yeah, through my left eye socket. YEEHA!!), and a good tissue sample was gotten for biopsy. Surgeon says it looks like an inflammation. We are waiting for the pathology report for an actual diagnosis, though. Then, we're gonna kill that bugger and make me more "normal(?)", again. Thanks for your prayers and thoughts.Walt

Re: Just a request.
Okay, we now have a name for the critter in my head. It is a Xanthogranuloma (Zantho...). Basically, that's a fatty, yellow scar tissue that continues to grow (Yeah!, now you can truly call me a fat head). The Neurosurgeon has no idea how to treat such a thing since, the great majority of the time, it is a "skin" condition. How did it get in my head? I haven't the foggiest. So, I have a date, June 8, with a Hemotologist to determine a path of treatment. I now await that day with baited breath, 'cause I'm tired of all the symptoms ( One of which is low testosterone. Mmmm-mmm!). I'll let ya know as the drama unfolds.
