Quick Qu. for those of you who know .01% to 99.9% about advertising and getting people's attention. I have the idea for a T-shirt to create curiosity on the street or when I start speaking engagements. How is, "ECD, IT CAN'T HAVE ME", for the front, and, "IT STARTS WITH EDUCATION: www.histio.org" on the back. Or, "SHOULD A DISEASE BE AN ORPHAN?!!"-Front and, "ECD at www.histio.org"? Whatcha think? Oh! The rhyme on the 1st one is unintentional.

Finally got busy today. Made lots of phone calls, checked on getting the T-shirts and even thought of some other ways to raise funds. Also, got started on some Tai Chi for its benefits. It's hard. But, it feels good to stretch the way this art requires of a person.

Fun, fun! Finally found a way for the two of us to visit the torture master, I mean dentist, like we should, and wouldn't ya know it, I need root canals on two teeth!! Life just keeps gettin' funner and funner. Good dentist, though. Did some hefty drillin' on one of the afore mentioned teeth (he found out about the more expensive need upon the cleaning out), and my jaw didn't hurt in the least after the Novocaine wore off. So pleased. I always dread those visits. Maybe It's just been a while since I've had a good tooth & gum man. I do hate possessing another credit card. Ah! What's a guy to do?

Well, ain't this turnin' out to be fun?!! I had to call the Neurologist to find out, after my Oncologist had referred me and set up an appt., that he was not accepting new patients for that procedure. Good thing I called to check. I guess Dr.'s don't become Dr.'s to help people anymore. So, while my doc tries to sort this crud out, I'm going to be doin' some searching of my own. I'll even be looking out of state. Hypocratic oath! Hypocritic oath is more like it.

Just got home from church after making an announcement trying to drum up people to brainstorm with about fund raising ideas for ECD. Things went very well. Got a response from two folks who not only want to brainstorm, but also want to help find other people to help.One suggested I write a book about my experience and go to a local printer for publishing. They are helping her publish an inspirational book about her experience with a blood disorder and a stroke.More and more is happening, and I'm getting pretty excited.

Finally got an appt.(?) w the neuro-surgeon. I go in for consultation on the 10th. The time is yet to be announced. It'd be nice to have the shunt put in before yrs end so it would be covered 100%. Jan. 1, the deductibles start all over again.

Hi Walter This thread started before I joined Taxi. I'm very sorry about your troubles and sorry I never got to know you before all this hit you. I have had time to get to know all those wonderful people that are supporting you. They as you know are some of the best folks in the world and any friend of theirs is a friend of mine so I with them will keep you in my prayers for a full recovery. Take care mild Bill
