Plus I forgot to mention my cousins flatmates got a hold of it one night in aberdeen and they trashed it and the back of it slid off and I had to glue it back on. Whole guitar is just knackered and would probably only suit now as a sit at home practice guitar. Such a pity, it had a lovely fishmans pickup in it and all. was my favourite ever guitar I bought.
You should ask a luthier before assuming; the big baby doesn't have a bound neck, so a refret should be south of $200, or it may only need a few frets or even just a crown, dress and leveling. (which runs about $80, in my neck o' the woods) There could be a problem down the road, if you used the wrong sort of glue, but as long as the neck is true and doesn't need a reset, it's probably very fixable, if you don't mind the 'ruggedized' look. Even with a new nut and saddle, it should be cheaper than a replacement.
