You have your strong opinions, you don't mind stating them.. At times you appear to be telling people your are right and your way is the best way. That gets other people to state their opinion that would have stayed on the side line and not stated their opinions at all. That gets people emotionally involved...It really seems to flesh out all sides of the argument, which is good...Right ???... Not sure yet if you are doing this intentionally... I find this entertaining...

My way is the right way; it is right for me. I share what I know, what I have been through, and I believe. It may help someone else. It may irritate others. But it is what it is.

The important thing is that people learn from me.

False...

I hate crappy music... Whether it's from 10,000 BC or 2112 AD ( hehe) it doesn't matter. If it rocks, and or has a good melody AND ya can dance to it OR bang your head to it, I'll probably like it. :)

I don't even know what's going on, but this cracked me up when I read it.

In reading through your posts, I sometimes wonder if you're putting us on.

I think we've all known people who, for inexplicable reasons, thrive on conflict and gracelessness in their dealings with other people. And whether it's intended or not, you come across that way. So I have a proposal for you. If you would be willing to temporarily hold off on the wisdom dispensing and, instead, open yourself to the possibility of learning from others, there is one giant elephant-in-the-room lesson that might be very valuable to you: In this business, as in most other areas of life, people who are pleasant to be around have a much better shot at success than those who come across as obnoxious and insufferable.

You might find that, with a little attitude adjustment, it would be safe to come back down to earth.

Good luck.

Richard

I am pleasant to be around. :)

Look how many friends I have made, including yourself. Just because people do not share my views does not mean that they do not like me. Anyway, most people have spent more time NOT answering the question I asked. I made a casual observation that Taxi members do not seem very fond of modern music. Is that true or false?

I love modern music-- listen to a lot of current rock. My writing style is retro... I guess that's what's inside of me at my age but I listen to music from the 50's/60's to current.

OK, now that I've answered that, why don't you answer this... Give us a list of your placements (show, network, track title, etc) and links to the tracks you've placed. (Not just that one zippity doo dah link)... Everyone else here worth their salt is open.

Bonus: Actually identify yourself and stop hiding behind the anonymity of that space helmut.

People have the right to remain anonymous on boards like this. The problem kicks in when you are obnoxious and claim to be so knowledgable and able to give advice. It's impossible to have credibility that way. Right now you are just a troll we laugh at.

And I'm sure you're pleasant to be around... As pleasant as a fart in a spacesuit.

Casey
