"People would rather express their viewpoints on music than listen to other people's music. Reviewing music is boring.

Why try to get reviews from other musicians? They are not providing opportunities to exploit your music. Taxi submissions are the only reviews composers should be looking forward to."

Taxi submissions and critiques are primarily geared for specific listings.

Reviewing music is work most of the time. Balancing honest and helpful with consideration for other's feelings, and choosing your words carefully, sometimes is close to an impossible task. It's not the best place to make friends and gain popularity, lol!
On the other hand, it is a treasure trove of knowledge you just can't find anywhere else.
Reviewing helps you develop your critical listening ear and with the other comments helps to discover the defects in your own material, and being reviewed can offer insight to your strengths and weaknesses, and hints and tips to make your own music better.
I am convinced it really works, the contrast between music that is submitted to taxi tv, peer-to-peer vs. non peer-to-peer is quite astonishing.
