That's awesome Donho and pretty cool that you happened on this thread the way you did. Everything happens for a reason, they say. I will third Claire's request--would love to hear how you got the deal!Good luck getting those cuts!-Perry

Honestly, I just wanted to know what kind of success people have had in country music with Taxi......... that's all. I would ask the same kind of question about anything I was putting my time and money into, and again I am happy with Taxi and plan on staying with Taxi. I think the main problem with the forum is new members like myself ask old tired questions that have been beat to death. Sorry.:)

So, Donho, for clarification, do you STILL live in Hawaii or do you now live in Nashville?

I hope that this thread can die a merciful death. I was at the Nashville seminar and it was crystal clear to me. I had no questions or illusions when I left.Soucy said something about a Glimmer earlier. To me all that glimmers MIGHT be gold so by god im gonna dig til I find out it aint!Just drives me harder. I've moved to the "Free Beer" thread since we're not supposed to have any controversy 'round here.Cam

The purported "controversies" are usually a result of an overreaction to what seem to be innocuous posts until the overreactor comes in and re-defines the post as controversial. Generally lost in the ensuing discussion is what was actually stated in the original post and just how harmless it probably was. The lasting impression is that the original post was truly as bad as what the overreactor said it was (depending on the perceived import of the overreactor, of course). Indeed, people may go so far as to call the original poster an "idiot" simply as a result of how the original post was perceived by the overreactor. Trust me. I've seen it happen...maybe even today ;-) (BTW, I believe I have probably played the role of the overreactor and the original poster at different times in this place (and quite possibly the "idiot").)-Perry
