Hi It's nice to read that there actually IS life besides music Well, then I'll have a go: I was born in '76 (I suppose that makes the youngster in this thread so far) in Eastern Austria nearby a nice little town called Graz. Lived there for the first 25 years of my life with two younger sisters. After highschool attended a college for communication engineering. Did 8 months military service after that - which is obligatory for all males at the age of 18 here... (what a waste of time that was)Worked as an engineer and producer at a local radio station for 4 years. During this time I met my wife.Moved 650 km away from home to Lake Constance (for those who are interested in geography it lies on the borders of Germany, Switzerland and Austria) where I started a career as software developer for a large media company.Got married in 2003 but no kids yetWell, I think that's it. Not much, ey?Chris

Hey Mr. BassManSounds like you live in a very pretty part of the world. I'm a software engineer for a small company here in the Philadelphia area... C, C++, VB... (That's nerd talk, ignore if you have no idea what it means)... Casey

Here's a little bit of news...I recently attended the Nashville Songwriter's Festival on Music Row. Two of my songs made the festival's "Best Of" cd.I'm getting up-front mechanicals on the initial pressing and some serious attention from a number of publishers. The cd is - or will be soon - available all over the internet and physical distribution is in the works.I just attended the CD release party here in Nashville. What a blast!Things are looking good... This could be the big break. And I should add that both of those songs were forwarded by Taxi to major publishers more than once.
