Quote:Here's a little bit of news...I recently attended the Nashville Songwriter's Festival on Music Row. Two of my songs made the festival's "Best Of" cd.I'm getting up-front mechanicals on the initial pressing and some serious attention from a number of publishers. The cd is - or will be soon - available all over the internet and physical distribution is in the works.I just attended the CD release party here in Nashville. What a blast!Things are looking good... This could be the big break. And I should add that both of those songs were forwarded by Taxi to major publishers more than once.Hey! Congrats Hook! I guess your "Nobody ever failed, they just gave up too soon..." motto is pretty appropriate. Dave

Yeah, that's right...So, I was watching the Weather Channel today with a couple of young female groupies... Uhhh, I mean friends. When one says to the other, "Let's show him a real upper-level disturbance."I smiled in a smilish manner.Just then, they jiggled over and...Oh, sorry. This one belongs in Penthouse Forums...Hehhehheh...

Hey Von!I'm just so fired up about this turn of events, bud. After eight long, discouraging years of chasing that rainbow... I went from zero to sixty with one unexpected email!I'll start a new thread here on the board.
