Today's ONOFFON SSP of the Day is from the AudioStreet.com Jazz Charts, where today our song, "Surrender Now" went to #1 in Acid Jazz -AudioStreet.com - Acid Jazzhttp://www.audiostreet.net/charts.aspx?genreid=166I know, I know - it's a small OMD and it's a small genre, but anytime you go to #1 on a chart for whatever reason, it's got to be a good thing! Thanks to the listeners at AudioStreet.com for, um, er... listening...

ONOFFON's SSP of the Day is "Mardi Gras'" return to the Latin Jazz Top 10 over at BroadJam! After receiving its first review in eight months over the weekend, an overall rating of 4/5, it managed to pop up into #8 in the Latin Jazz Top 10.BroadJam.com - Latin Jazzhttp://www.broadjam.com/topten/genres/latin/latin_jazz.aspWhen we started on BroadJam, "Mardi Gras" held the overall #1 Latin song for eleven straight days. When they started the smaller genre of Latin Jazz, it held every Top 10 chart position over a three month period, from #1 through #10. In our time on the site, "Mardi Gras" has reached the Top 10 on six different charts, and "Shadowglass" has hit three Top 10 charts four separate times. Our sincere thanks to the reviewers at BroadJam for giving us such excellent reviews...

Today's ONOFFON SSP of the Day is an email I received just this morning from a person in the management of one of the sites in my last post - this is what they said -To: Von <von@onoffon.com>"Hi VonOffVon, Just wanted to let you know that we had some friends over last night and played your tunes several times. You guys were a big hit. That’s some serious musicianship going on and it is unfortunately almost a lost art. I think its unfair to compare yourself to DMB because you have a much rawer and more aggressive sound. We checked your site for CD sales and found the link on the bottom. A friend of mine will be ordering one this week and let us know if you are ever playing in the WA state area, we will come root you on.Take care,Management" This is exactly the kind of email that really kicks off your day with a promise of hope that there might actually be a God... Thanks to the management of this website...

The ONOFFON SSP of the Day is a little review we received this morning on our song, "Shadowglass", written by one of the moderators over at the R Cat Communications BBs - here's his take -R Cat Communications - Reviewshttp://rcatcommunications.com/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=11ONOFFON - "Shadowglass""This is a watertight band, to say the least. This particular number has the elemental building blocks for the construction of a musically masterful piece of sonic architecture. With a focus on fusion, this progressive piece employs lead sounds which are shared between flute and guitar. The melodies are pleasant, and meticulously played. The guitar solo near the end of the song is not to be missed! Just tremendous! These are accomplished musicians, and the work you hear from them makes this fact very apparent. Much credit to these guys are well deserved." http://www.soundclick.com/bands/5/onoffon.htm http://www.onoffon.com/Thanks to Wally for such a complimentary review...
