Hi oldbees, newbees, middle-aged-bees, neobees, buzzing bees et al... I think we are all the same. People who want to achieve something with their music. I'm not a big fan of lists, classifications, seniority, adoration, etc... The number of stars thing is just a fun thing, I hope no one takes that seriously. People forget sometimes that being new to this message forum does not necessarily mean you are new or inexperienced in the music world or to TAXI. People pop in here with all levels of musical skills and accomplishments. Some people who have come on board here in the past few months have already had released CD's, label deals, placements, publishing contracts, etc... Remember, TAXI has over 11,000 members (or is it 12,000?) and there are probably 30 or 40 regulars on this board. This board in no way represents the TAXI membership. We are all the same.... We are all different but still we are all the same. Caseybee

Thanks Hummingbird, great post as usual. Well as you know I'm fairly new here and have probably annoyed quite a few of you more seasoned members, with my questions as well and lack of comments about posts others leave. I'm trying my bestr to stay up to date with everything going on here myspace,Hi5, youtube etc. Not for lack of courtesy but just a time issue, but I'm guilty of some of the things you mentioned so I got some cleaning up to do. THANKS for making me feel welcome, you and nomiyah.

Anna!! So great to read your post. My husband's from Beloit. He has lots of friends in Madison (great college town, btw). I spent 10 years in South Dakota and 1 year in North Dakota on the road once and you're absolutely right. It's freezing up there. But the cheese is really good. Happy to meetcha.Squid in Mississippi

Probably her music is pretty darn good since she didn't tell us we needed to Google her to see how important she is, so that we understand our place and who we're dealing with.

OK lookit. I'm the only one daft enough around here to express unwarranted annoyance at Noobs. Anyone with the name Stephen, is gonna get my attention. And Stephen, you have been very graceful and polite, every step of the way. Those of you with J names, well I get annoyed easier with you. My kids all have J names, it's just a carry over. Don't ever take anything I say personally. Just practicing thick skin.
