Well congrats to all who have licked their bad addiction or are engaged in battle but not giving up... This is my third week (I think) without coffee. I do drink tea and still pop caffeine pills twice a day (100 mg per pill = about 1 cup of coffee)... Functioning without caffeine, at least in the morning, doesn't seem possible.BTW, I did try a new Folger's low-acid coffee called "Simply Smooth" (3 days, 1 cup in the morning), but really didn't like it. It tasted kinda wimpy to me. So, back to no coffee. I drink Crystal Light with breakfast! Casey

Way ta' go Case! It's funny, I never got addicted ta' caffeine like I did cigarettes. Whenever I'm doin' the 9 ta' 5 thing, I always end up drinkin' coffee for breakfast. But when I'm not doin' the 9 ta' 5 thing, I don't even bother with coffee. I've been home for over a year now, and I've never once bothered ta' make myself a cup of coffee. I have gone to Dunkin' Donuts on several different occassions and gotten myself a large coffee, but I usually don't seek it unless I'm goin' ta' work in the morning. I think, for me, it's just a wake-me-up tonic, which is probably why I don't go after it constantly. perhaps that's a good thing though. One less addiction ta' worry about huh?I-468
