Hi Tore,

Thank you for sharing your review. It really helps a newbie like me.

I am wondering why you have the ending so different than the slow build. Just contrast, or was there something else specifically?

I can't hear the difference in the strings on my computer.

I'm wondering what it would sound like with the coda out front as an intro. Just curious.

Sounds good to me!

Best,

Tore wrote:Shores of Eternity sounds really nice. I gonna buy some more stuff now. Tomorrow i buy Cineperc, Cinebrass, Cinewinds(all Core) and one from 8dio, but im not sure what fits best with adagietto. Do you have any suggestions Cruciform? I'll think it be either Agitatos Grandiose bundles or Adagio Violins, but i really need some help to choose right. The style i like most is the soaring, slow orchestral.

Tore
Adagio Violins would give you more of what you already have in Adagietto. Adagietto is simply a cutdown version of Adagio. The Agitato bundle will give you different sounds and articulations and because it was recorded in the same room as Adagio it will blend beautifully.

Thanks for the tip Rob. My only concern is that i dont have any solo string when buying Agitato, but that can wait:) It sounds very good, and i've begun to figure out Adagietto, at least how to pratice to get better. :D

Thanks for listening Wendy. Im not sure if i understand your question, but i'll try answer it the best i can. I tought i would be a nice editpoint between the end-build and piano. I'll think the last bit also could fit into a scene thats why i did it.
I think there is a big difference between 8dio strings and Session strings, but i dont handle the 8dio strings that good soo the difference between them isnt that obvious.
Im not sure what you mean with Coda(this is my first orchestral, so i dont know the term :D ) Can you explain?

A Coda is a type of extended ending. It can go through the main melody one more time, only slower or bigger. It can also be totally different than the main melody.

So you added the ending to balance the arrangement. OK. I'm following.

I liked the ending. I can see how it could be used on its own.

Thanks!

Hi Tore,

I don't check the posts every day. I was afraid I had left you hanging for awhile when I saw your reply.

Sorry for the wait!
