Quote:Ern,Would I be right in saying McCartney played drums on 'Dear Prudence'?I'll look that up tomorrow, Mani. I do know Paul played drums on "Back In The USSR." I think he played drums on a few others on the White Album, one because Ringo quit the band for a few days. Good ol' Ringo! Ern

I thought we were voting for the best 3 or 35 songs to go on the desert island CD Ringo

Yeah.....let's stick with the topic. Letsee...uh was how many beetles would you have to eat on an island to win a chance at $50,000 ? And a chance to beat Ringo with a drum, as he changes his name to pick up more chics?I guess I still don't understand the Sgt Peppers phenom.Oh, well.....Tomorrows topic Boston: band or city? You be the judge. Also, KISS may have been the most over-rated band in history. Hey, I call 'em how I see um.

I first saw Kiss on tv when I was four and although I didn't even know the words 'gimmicky crap' at the time, that's exactly what I was thinking.
